What is the name of organization, which you can donate money for small business loans? seen on the Daily Show.

I think it starting with an a…maybe? Anyways you could donate a money to people around the world who needed a loan for a small business? The guy who started the organization was on the Daily Show on comedy central, and talked about it.

I’m not sure if this is the same person you saw on the Daily Show, however I think it’s Grameen Bank, whose founder won the Nobel Peace Price. Attached to the Bank is the Grameen Foundation. The bank makes microloans to deserving persons to start or fund small businesses in developing countries. Check out the website of the Foundation to donate much needed funds:

There’s an organization here in SF called kiva.org and they also facilitate micro loans in 25.00 increments. Hope this helps.
