Which are best holiday rental sites in Australia?
I was browsing through newly launched http://www.homeaway.com.au and I’m would like to find a place in Gold Coast (an apartment on the beach), but there are too many neighborhoods to figure out best area to stay in, http://www.homeaway.com.au/holiday-rentals/australia/gold-coast/r36253 – any recommendations regarding area? any of you used holiday rentals (sites and properties) in Australia?

BroadBeach would be good also Burleigh. Not Broadbeach Waters or Burleigh Waters as that would be back from the beach . I didn’t see any for Surfers so have given you another site.
Labrador is lovely on The BroadWater but not on the open beaches. I wouldn’t choose Palm beach although it’s nice but along way from any action. Palm Beach is down closer to The Gold Coast airport. Most of the places listed are not on the beach
